Our Company
Sagittarius Screenprinting & Embroidery
is owned and operated
by George and Susan Goepel, and has been in
operation since 1995.
From 1995 to early 2002, our home base was in
Cupertino in the heart of California's dynamic Silicon Valley. In 2002, needing a place that could also be home to our
horses, we relocated to the beautiful rollling foothills of the northern Sierra Nevada, near the Gold Rush towns of Rough
& Ready, Grass Valley, and Nevada City. Here we have found a wonderful blend of small-town values and big-city amenities,
friendly people, scenic beauty, and tremendous support for all the arts.
Through the years we've worked with a wonderfully
diverse client base, from Bobby Sox softball leagues to the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum in San Jose. No two jobs have
ever been exactly the same, each presents its own unique challenges and rewards, and we're never bored with our work!
How We Do Business
Our objectives are simple:
to provide a high quality product at competitive
prices, and
to offer individualized service to every customer.
We work in multiples, but we treat each piece
as a stand-alone original, giving it the same care and attention we give to our fine art and fine crafting.
Each item is individually inspected, whatever the size of the job, to insure that it meets our exacting standard
of quality.
We aim to provide you with personalized service, tailored to meet your
needs and to make the production of your embellished items the least of your worries. Customer satisfaction is our number
one goal.
Our Crew
In addition to the crafts and services offered
here, our talented and hard-working crew is variously adept in several other art forms--watercolor painting, sculpture, jewelrymaking,
miniature-crafting and mosaics, to name a few. As this site evolves, we hope to showcase some of their other
work for you.
